Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix an Los Angeles native born on the 18th of November, 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a elementary school teacher at Balboa Magnet. Felix was a natural athlete and developed a passion of sprinting while at Los Angeles Baptist High School. After her first audition and placing within the top two places at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 200 meters in just 10 weeks. Felix was signed to an official career at Adidas in 2003. She after that she enrolled at University of Southern California to pursue a degree in elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic gold at the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record in the 200-meter race with a time of 22.18. In 2005, she became the youngest world champion of 200 meters in the Helsinki World Championships. She defended this title in 2007 beating her former Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed at the top of the podium in her various races during the Olympics that took place in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
